Privacy policy

PolyPadel is a padel game you play in your browser. We built it to need as little about you as possible: no accounts, no tracking cookies and no ads. This policy explains what little is involved, in plain words.
Who we are
PolyPadel is made and run by , ("we", "us"). For anything about your data, write to .
What stays on your device
The game remembers a few things in your browser's own storage, so it works the way you left it:
- your settings (controls, camera, sound, theme) and your last match setup;
- the name you choose for online play, whether you play as a man or a woman, and what your player wears and plays with (clothes, colours and racket);
- a random code made up by your browser, which lets you get your seat back if you lose your connection in an online room.
This stays in your browser: we don't receive it, except for the online details below. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
When you play online
To run an online room, your browser sends our game server your chosen name, whether you play as a man or a woman, what your player wears and plays with, the random code above, and your moves during play. Your name and your player's look are shown to the other people in your room. Rooms exist only while they're open: when a room closes, everything about it is discarded. We don't keep match records or chat (there is no chat).
Like any website, our server and hosting providers see your IP address so they can send you the game, and our server uses it to stop abuse (for example, limiting how many rooms one address can open in a short time). Our server may keep short technical logs (times, IP addresses and errors) for up to 30 days to keep the service secure and working, and then deletes them.
Please don't use your full real name, or anything personal, as your online name.
Visitor statistics
We may count visits with a privacy-friendly service that uses no cookies and builds no profile of you: it tells us totals such as pages viewed, countries and device types, never who you are.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for an account, an email address or a phone number to play.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We don't sell or rent anyone's data, or share it with advertisers.
Children
PolyPadel is made for a general audience and isn't aimed at young children. If you're under 18, please play online only with the permission of a parent or guardian, and choose a nickname rather than your name. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain if you're unhappy with how we've handled it. Because we keep so little, there's usually nothing to find, but write to and we'll reply within 30 days.

Security
The game is served over an encrypted connection, and our server keeps only what it needs to run open rooms. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what could be exposed to a minimum.
Changes
If we change how PolyPadel handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so in the game.
